I am in recruiter in Indianapolis, In. I currently have several DBA positions open here in Indy.
Sybase: Contract to hire. Sybase expereince running on Solaris. Large system also running Oracle and SQL Server. Will be "The Man" on Sybase so must be able to stand on your own. Strong senior team around you. Thism position could go the the low 90's somewhere.
Oracle Applications DBA: Work closely with both datawarehouse team and application developers to improve systems. Strong communications skills. Probably mid to high 80's.
SQL Server: Smaller system and less complexity. This is for the up and coming DBA who wants an environment they can grow in. International company in a niche market. This position is looking for 2 to 3 years expereince and will only reach into the low 60's in $.
