This large insurance company is currently looking for 2 Oracle DBAs with a minimum of 4 years experience in the field of database administration. Both positions are full time and available immediately. The salary for this position is competitive, and all permanent employees get a highly competitive bonus plan and profit sharing that averages 18% of each employee's annual salary. Our client is a well known insurance company where many employees go to establish stable and lengthy careers. The position description is as follows:

Must Haves:
-Strong Oracle 9i, 10g and performance tuning Skills Within A Business Critical Environment.
-Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, UNIX, and Shell Scripting required.
-Candidate must be able to utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager, Dataguard, and have worked in a 24/7 environment in previous jobs.
-Solid understanding of database design and optimization along with adherence to change control process.
-Proven capability to maintain and administer fast growing Oracle Databases in development, testing, and production (Full SDLC) environment.
-Must be able to work well within a team and follow SDLC methodology.
-Strong project management, oral and written communication skills.
-Available to work some weekend/off-hours support of databases.

Nice-to-have's:
-Oracle RAC and GRID work experience.
