Wise Men Consultants is accepting resumes on behalf of one of our clients in Chicago. This company is a leader in the financial industry who needs a DB2 Dba - a permanent, full-time employee with benefits.

The general req's for the position:
-BA/BS Degree - preferably in Computer Science -- or, compatible experience
-Minimum of 5 years of DB2 LUW DBA experience
-Experience as a DBA with DB2 version 7 and higher on Unix/Linux platforms
-A thorough knowledge of SQL coding efficiencies

-Experience in IBM Data Replication technologies is desirable (a big plus)
-Some familiarity with additional DBMS's such as Oracle or SQL Server is also desirable
-Very good oral and written communication skills
