Located in Sunny Las Vegas, NV. We are currently seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Server DBA with a well-rounded background in database design, development, support and maintenance. In this role, the successful candidate will function as an integral memeber of the software development staff and will work directly with developers, systems administrators and operators.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Maintain, monitor and performance tune SQL Server 2000 Severs/Databases
•Architect, design, and develop database objects for real-time OLTP
•Design solutions to meet business objectives
•Monitor SQL jobs in production
•Provide 24 x 7 on-call support
•Provide consultation to development teams members
•Indexing, database consistency checks, back-ups/recovery, security, replication, log shipping etc.
•Stress-test database/application and assist QA in design of test cases

Skills and Qualifications:

•2-5 years experience
•BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
•3-5 years of SQL Server Database Administration/Development in MS SQL 7/2000.
•Understanding of database design and data modeling concepts
•Experience in real-time OLTP and DTS experience
•Proficient in T-SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, functions
•Experience in OLAP/MDX/Data Warehousing development is a plus
