1. HERE’S WHAT WE NEED…

A Java Developer to develop and support an application suite. The applications cover a range of technologies: desktop, client/server, database access, and web applications. The applications are implemented primarily as Java web applications, though there are some that are implemented as Java Swing, PowerBuilder, or simply as database PL/SQL scripts. The applicant is required to have recent experience and advanced proficiency with the Java programming language and Enterprise Java (JEE) APIs.
Location: Fairfax, VA
Looking for a Mid to Senior level Java Developer, must be citizen and clearable

Required:

Object-Oriented Development experience 5+ years
Java programming language experience 5+ years
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Design Patterns (Core J2EE/GOF)
Excellent communication skills
US Citizen and possess or have the ability to obtain and hold a DoD security clearance.

Desirable Qualifications:

Working knowledge of web development (HTML/JavaScript/CSS)
EJB (2.1) experience
Spring, Hibernate, JSF experience
Ant, Maven build/deployment
Java Swing experience
WebLogic Application Server experience
Oracle Database experience
PowerBuilder experience
Sun Java certifications (SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, etc.)

2. HERE’S WHAT WE NEED…

An experienced, self-motivated Java/J2EE Developer to work on a client project in Chevy Chase, MD.

Requirements:

Experience developing in a large heavily used Internet application with proven Application Development experience for a large scale J2EE-based system
Experience with JavaScript, Struts, JSP, and Oracle (10g preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Ability to code/develop independently and team with Testers/Analysts in order to complete deliverables
Minimum of three years of development experience in large scale multiplatform environment
Understanding of and experience with relational database concepts and use of SQL queries
Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle Methodologies and Unix
Experience with Production Support, specifically deadlocks, memory, bandwidth issues
Desired:

· AJAX experience strongly desired

Experience with Rule-Based Systems (Blaze preferred)
Knowledge of Open Source Frameworks (Spring/Hibernate)
Bachelor’s Degree in CS or Engineering
