Job Description


10+ years experience engineering/arcthitecting enterprise-wide information systems. Experience with UNIX, Windows, LDAP, Oracle, Siebel, Active Directory, Clustering, Load Balancing, Oracle RAK Installations, JBOS, Networking

Provides identification/fixing of problems within existing software, design/implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing Unix applications. Participates in analysis, design and new construction of next generation applications. Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the realities of commercially available IT products, and creating requirements that will allow implementation by the development team and COTS products. Experience as a systems engineer and a software developer on one or more OSS (Operational Software Systems) is preferred. Must have solid technical background with a focus on software and systems.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. This position requires a minimum of ten years experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: demonstrated experience with data base design and system analysis, current operating systems software internals and data manipulation languages.
