Sr. Applications Programmers/Analysts

Locations: Scottsdale, AZ - Tucson, AZ - Cranberry, PA - Downers Grove, IL - Glen Allen, VA

Positions: 5 full-time, regular employee openings

Incumbent must be proficient in all phases of application software development life cycles in MUMPs, Cache, and IDX.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs and may direct software coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and installation tasks for on-line and batch processes in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards. - Contributes to development and directs task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. - Participates in and may direct problem definition and problem resolution activities. - Participates in and may direct the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. 4-7 years in all phases of applications architecture software development/maintenance life cycles. Demonstrated excellence in technical skills and technical knowledge required in Mumps, Cache, and IDX Product. Knowledgeable in source control and management concepts and practices. Works well with others and has experience working in a team environment Is self motivated and proactive Has worked in an environment where they have worked with co-worker who are not on site Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g. partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc.). Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes preferred.
