Advisicon is a Gold Certified EPM solution provider. We work in both project management as well as creating applications that support business processes.

We are an Oregon based company, and this job does require relocation, if you are not currently local to the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.

The President of the company, a former Microsoft Access MVP and a current MS Project MVP, is looking at adding to our development team one or more resources who have experience in developing applications in VBA across different versions of MS Access, Office and other platforms.

We are looking for full-time assistance. All full-time positions have a competitive benefit package. We are looking for developers who have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Compensation will be based on your experience, education, and demonstrated skill set. Please include salary requirements in your cover page.

We invest heavily in training and growing our developer’s skillsets and utilize best practices in project management to ensure that the projects run provide the greatest value and stability in development for our teams.

The developer(s) we are looking for must have strong Microsoft Access application development skills including at least 1 - 3 years experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Access database applications. They should also be able to create new Access applications; maintain existing Access applications; create, maintain, and troubleshoot VBA modules and procedures; and manage linked databases.

The candidate must be able to work independently as well as with team members and customers. Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Access 2000 or later, Software development using Visual Basic for applications (VBA), Designing, creating, and maintaining database tables using RDBMS best practices, Microsoft Access applications using SQL Server for back-end data storage is also a strong plus.

As a developer, you must be able to manage multiple projects and be a self-starter and have strong analytic and problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
