Mid-level Oracle Developer needed to support web-based and client-based applications. Responsibilities include database design, analysis, development and implementation. This position will also assist in providing ongoing support for data migration needs and some database administration. Accurately estimate design and development tasks, and meet critical project timeframes. As a self motivated team player, the candidate should be able to multitask and assist in all areas of the system development lifecycle. Work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Required Experience

Responsibilities: Experience with Oracle 9i + (10g preferred) 5+ years of Oracle development (tables, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, queries) Experience in Oracle database administration is a plus Strong SQL and PL/SQL optimization skills is a must Excellent debugging, research and problem solving skills Experience with database migration, database optimization tools and methods, data modeling, data replication strategies, data exchange, and database conversions Experience with installing and implementing data, and monitoring, maintaining, backing up, and recovering of data Experience with both UNIX and Microsoft operating systems Knowledge of Oracle supplied packages and Oracle Spatial a plus Knowledge of Perl, shell scripts is a plus Must have the ability to work in a team environment and work independently on client engagements Experience in professional consulting preferred Strong written & verbal communication skills required BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical discipline
