This position is for an intermediate level (not senior level) Hyperion Essbase developer (2 -3 years experience) who will be responsible for maintaining the U.S. and Canada Segment Profitability reporting models.

This involves gathering and analyzing cost data feeds to develop a profitability measure for a particular brand and package by segment, the refresh of these reporting models is a 6 month effort to facilitate annual strategic planning.

You need to be knowledgeable in profitability measures that drive a consumer products company, and understand the calculation of key financial measures and impact of marginal contribution, gross and net profit, cost of goods sold, etc.

This role interacts with key business areas that include corporate finance, planning and tax. The role also offers the opportunity to lead a small development team and learn financial measures the drive key business decisions.
