Must have a strong Business Intelligence background, and strong Hyperion Essbase experience
This position acts as a team member of Systems Analyst responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BI and BPM (Business Performance Management) applications with a primary responsibility of administering Hyperion Planning applications.
Defines, designs and implements business needs into solutions
Coordinates modifications with other application and infrastructure teams
This is an on-call position (rotating schedule) and requires a means of contact 24/7/365 while on call
Core Requirements
· 3-5 years experience preparing and delivering executive level presentations, briefings, and business case development
· 2+ years developing / supporting Hyperion Essbase applications
· Experience implementing Hyperion Planning (creating and managing planning applications, creating and maintaining web forms, developing business rules, etc.)
· In-depth knowledge and experience creating OLAP cubes using Hyperion Essbase
· Experience using Essbase BSO
· Experience creating reports and dashboards through Hyperion Reports and/or Hyperion Analyzer or equivalent Hyperion application within System 9BI+
· Experience using HAL or load rules
· Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
· Able to work independently and as part of a tem
· 4-year degree or equivalent experience
Desirable Requirements
· EIS (Essbase Integration Services) or AIS (Analytic Integration Services)
· Writing MaxL scripts
· Using Essbase ASO
· Using ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage
· T-SQL or PL/SQL
· Essbase partitioning and optimization
· Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
· 2+ years developing / supporting Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Pillar applications
