Junior Level Software Support Developer

Position is located in New York City, NY.

Looking to hire a Junior level developer responsible for the support and maintenance of standard daily processes for our HR/Payroll and Financial systems.

These include:

-Creating basic Unix and AWK scripts to provide additional functionality which can include:

1. Adding reports.
2. Adding e-mail distribution of reports.
3. Adding SFTP Distribution of reports.
4. Adding SQL code query Oracle database.

-Oracle scripting updates (SQLLDR, PLSQL) for Payroll reporting/Finance databases and ongoing Employee Self Service project.

-Troubleshooting existing Oracle, Unix and AWK scripts if issues arise.

-Payroll and Finance experience would be utilized for above as well as researching issues that may arise during Payroll/GL/AP runs.

-Documenting Unix/Oracle processes.

-Cobol programming updates for various Payroll and benefits processes.

-Experience with Windows Server Manager.

Requirements:

UNIX Shell scripting in Kornshell, C-Shell
Knowledge of Perl and Awk
Intermediate Oracle Experience
Cyborg knowledge would be a plus.
Cobol Knowledge would be a plus.
Windows.
Microsoft Excel/Project/Visio would be a plus.
Payroll/AP/GL Experience would be a plus.
