Perform Oracle Application Server and Oracle Database Administration.
Using SQL and other fourth generation languages, coordinates the use of
data available through a computerized system. Performs database storage
management, back-up and recovery, database installations, patching and
upgrades. Configures Oracle clients using SQL*Net and related parameter
files (i.e. TNSNAMES, LISTENER and SQLNET.ora files) Review database
design and integration of systems. Establish and maintain security and
integrity controlled and dictated by customer policies and regulations.
Monitor database and application server utilization and tune as
appropriate and within guidelines for optimization.

REQUIRED:
Senior-level experience with Oracle Application Server
3 - 5 years experience with Oracle Application Server 10g * Oracle
Portal * Oracle Reports * Oracle Internet Directory * Oracle HTTP Server
(OHS) configuration * SSL configuration
REQUIRED:
Mid-level experience with Oracle Database Administration
3 - 5 years experience with Oracle Database 9i and / or 10g * KSH
Scripting * SQL and PL/SQL programming * SQL Tuning * Database
monitoring and tuning * Backup and Recovery * Listener configuration
Experience working in WAN environment Experience with Sun Solaris Data
warehouse experience Knowledge of web technologies application
development Experience with C#, .NET, or Visual Basic.
2 - 4 years experience working as SQL Server DBA, SQL Server 2000 would
also be beneficial.

Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science, IT or related engineering discipline. A
combination of experience and education may be substituted for BA/BS
degree.

The position requires good verbal and written communications skills, and
the ability to work with others in a team environment. Able to be
on-call during off-hours.
