Our client, the national leader in their industry, is in need of a SQL DBA for a full-time, permanent position in Nashville, Tennessee. This person will join a group of 3 other DBAs and will be the second SQL DBA on the team. The successful candidate will have a blend of production DBA and development DBA skills and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining, RDBMS data structures in test and production environments. This person will take part in an on-call rotation every four weeks but call volume is minimal. Candidates possessing experience with Oracle or DB2 databases will be considered a bonus.
