We have been developing a new system which will replace the prepaid calling card. Our system uses proprietary technologies we have developed to provide VOIP accounts for mobile phones, without internet. We have been developing the Backend system, and the GUI interface for our custom Touch Screen PC Terminals. The touch screen terminals accept cash, and magnetic cards (credit cards or debit).
Recently we had some disagreements, and problems with our current developer. The result of this was him leaving the project 85% completed.
We need someone to pickup where he left off and finish the work he has started quickly. The project is coded in Visual Studio 2008 in the .NET programming languages.
- SERVER SIDE BACKEND: C# (C-SHARP.NET)
- WEB CONTROL INTERFACE: ASP.NET
- TERMINAL GUI SOFTWARE: VB.NET
The project uses a Web Services 2.0 (SOAP) API provided by our voice services provider, and fully documented hardware API's for the POS Hardware (from manufactures). Most of the major functions have already been coded, and only require optimizing and testing. The Terminal GUI Interface has some development to be done, along with being fully integrated and tested.
We are starting a National Prepaid Telecom Franchise, similar to a Western Union model. This is potentially a multi-billion dollar project and future company. We are interested in contracting a developer for this project currently, however we will have a great deal of work in the future for the right individual. Perhaps even a long-term salaried position may be consider; if interested.
We need a developer who has experience with all the .NET languages, Webservices 2.0 (SOAP) API's, and limited experience with working with Hardware API's is preferred.
