We are looking MicroStrategies Two Architects, 7 Developer/Admin ,one Systems Analyst and Microstrategy testers.
Starting at $50 per hour
Duration of the project: 12 months plus

Location: McLean, VA

Specific responsibilities include:
" Lead MicroStrategy 8.X expert to design and implement reporting application.
" Maintaining optimal performance of the reporting application, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning for multiple members on multiple projects.
" Ownership of all aspects of Microstrategy Administration functions for projects, servers, user & security administration.
" Managing migration of development, QA and production Microstrategy projects and objects.
" Providing technical support; troubleshooting report design; monitor system usage and proactive troubleshooting.
" Serving as a technical expert providing input to application design regarding production tuning and administration requirements.
" Develop Dashboards, Reports, assisting report developers, and participation in load testing exercises.
" Interacting effectively with internal stakeholders including Sr. Directors and vendors.
Setup and Manage training sessions.
" Providing best practices for MicroStrategy Implementations.
" Facilitate report requirements sessions and documentation.
" Provide weekly status report, Issues and risks.
" Database Design and Data Modeling for the Data Store.

Skill:
" 10+ years hands-on Administration experience with MicroStrategy 7.x/ 8.x including Desktop, Architect, Administrator, and server support.
" Must have worked as Lead or Sr. Microstrategy Expert Consultant.
" 10 years + experience as Microstrategy Architect and Reports Developer.
" Hands on experience with performance tuning VLDB, data warehouse database design and modeling.
" Experienced in administration of MicroStrategy Web and Intelligence servers in an UNIX environment.
" Demonstrated proficiency in Intelligence Server configuration settings, and experience in performance tuning.
" Experienced in multi-tenancy - i.e. supporting multiple business clients and multiple MicroStrategy projects on same underlying architecture.
" Comprehensive knowledge in the MicroStrategy BI tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP and Report Services).
" Comfortable working in a production environment with change management, defect tracking and status reporting processes.
" Strong UNIX and SQL skills; shell scripting preferred.
" Familiar with Software life cycle methodology
" Hands on experience with at least one relational db - UDB, Oracle DB
" Work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
" Database and reports performance tuning.
" Design and Develop ETL scripts.
" Financial Services Industry Experience preferred
