Job Description

Seeking Jr Database Analysts to review, evaluates, design, implement and maintains company database[s}. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.

Will be responsible for database management and development in both SQL Server and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate should enjoy working on a variety of projects and technologies. Some projects include advanced technologies such as SOA, XML and CLR Functions.

Required Skills:

Experience configuring, managing and monitoring SQL Server 2005 database servers and databases in support of transaction processing systems and warehouse / data mart applications.
Experience constructing OLAP databases using SQL Server 2005 Integration Services
Experience with integrated ETL tools such as SQL Server 2005 Integration Services
Experience with Report generation and building tools such as SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services.
DBA skills are desired for tuning, optimization and database design and development.
Data modeling experience and using commercial products required.
Desired Skills:

Experience with advanced database topics such as XML data objects, schemas and SOA concepts a plus.
The ability to develop complex business logic for applications as well as transformation for data analysis is desired.
Experience with database development using PL/SQL in Oracle 10g or higher a plus.
Experience with BI tools and design principles including dashboards, scorecards, etc. and tools such as MS Performance Point, Oracle BI and Cognos a plus.
Experience with data integration into other COTS systems such as SharePoint a plus.
Experience with Oracle APEX including Java a plus.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA solutions a plus
