MicroStrategy Developer (Approximately 2 resources required)

Rate 70-85/hr



Our Client expects the ideal candidates team to have (at a minimum) the


following skills:

7 + years hands-on Reports development experience using

Microstrategy application (MicroStrategy 7i / 8.x) including Desktop,

Architect, Administrator, and server support.


Familiarity with Microstrategy 9.x


Experience in multi-tenancy - i.e. supporting multiple business clients

and multiple MicroStrategy projects on same underlying architecture.


Comprehensive knowledge in the MicroStrategy BI tool suite (IServer,

Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP and Report

Services).


Deep experience working in a production environment with change

management, defect tracking and status reporting processes.


Deep experience with performance tuning, data warehouse database

design and modeling.


Experienced in administration of MicroStrategy Web and Intelligence

servers in an UNIX environment.


Demonstrated proficiency in Intelligence Server configuration

settings, and experience in performance tuning.


Strong SQL skills Prior excel macro scripting experience. Familiarity

with Software life cycle methodology. Deep experience with at least

one relational database- SQL Server, UDB, Oracle DB
