Mid-level IT Business Analyst position in NY City

We are Niche Technologists, Inc. an IT consulting and FT staffing company with clients throughout the U.S. since 1993.

We currently have a position to fill in NY City that calls for a mid-level IT Business Analyst with at least 4 years experience as a BA and 1-2 years large-scale workflow experience. By large-scale workflow experience we mean the process of the business requires users to exchange data amongst multiple systems across multiple departments . . . so these systems are large, complex, often multi-layered, and interface with one another and the client wants to minimize users having to login to multiple systems. The BA’s experience must include custom applications experience (not just pre-packaged applications).

The role works with the application developers and looks at the existing applications across the enterprise so see which are being touched by other applications and those under development to determine where overlap or disconnects or things left out, etc. occur, and from this perspective direct the application developers . . . so we’re looking for someone who has performed in a similar role and has influenced decisions, pointed out discrepancies, overlaps, issues, etc.

The interview process will require a review of your documentation, functional specs, technical specs, test plans, etc. You would, of course, remove any confidential information from the documents.

Note
To ensure a quick review/response of your resume/application for this position, we suggest you draft a brief summary/profile of your qualifications as they match up with this position and include it either in your resume our your cover email. We receive hundreds of resumes and this approach will put you ahead in the queue.
