Our client located in Columbia, MD is looking for a talented Multimedia Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time, direct hire position with our client and will include a full benefit package. This person will need to be local to the client. Please advise

Ideal candidates should have knowledge of the following: Computer literacy, Graphic design, Cold Fusion, SQL, .Net, Technical Writing, Desktop Publishing, HTML, Java or C++. You will be expected to work independently with unfamiliar instrumentation in order to verify accuracy of documentation.

The individual chosen for this position will be responsible for a wide variety of functions related to the production of technical material including, but not limited to written documentation, interactive material to be delivered via CD-ROM’s, DVDs, websites, including integration with databases for storing information as required, and other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Responsibilities

The essential function of this position is the creation and maintenance of multimedia material including technical and marketing information for delivery via CD-ROMs, DVDs and websites.

Additional Job Responsibilities

Writing and/or checking written documentation related to the company’s products and services.
Clarifying and validating installation/operation procedures.
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Web Design.
A background courses in Chemistry, Biology or other related sciences is a plus
