Job Description: Perform to complete software development and unit testing tasks in support of the sustainment of a large web-based application. Work with a team of software professionals to develop new functionality and correct software defects. Maintain and extend JAVA-based applications which utilize Tapestry, Spring, Hibernate, and Struts and Oracle database backend. In addition the candidate will perform analysis, development, execution, and maintenance of Java J2EE applications utilizing a variety of frameworks.
Preferred Skills: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Java J2EE development experience. Minimum of 2 years experience developing on Unix Operating Systems. Minimum of 2 years experience developing against an Oracle Database. Minimum of 2 years of experience with one of the following Java Frameworks: Hibernate, Spring, or Tapestry is required.
