We want to get a qualified consultant for a one-time technology recomendation for our full server replacement; someone without a vested interest in hardware purchase.

Riverside / Orange County area.

Main technologies we use are Microsoft web server, MS SQL Server, with manufacturing / inventory support (printing manufacturing labels, shipping, inventory management, etc), plus a few sundary apps like EDI.

So; probably we'll move to a mixture of Cloud and SAN based multi-server environment using Virtualized servers.

Basically; we need to justify a budget to Corporate and if the recommendation becomes expensive we need technical justification and assurance that the money is necessary and well spent.

Our next step would be to hire a good local vendor; probably a big one like Sigmanet. This is just a few meetings spent as a kick-off point.
