Niche Technologists, Inc., in business since 1993, is an IT staffing and consulting company with a client base across the U.S. and a strong presence in the Business Intelligence sector (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, etc.).

We are currently recruiting to fill a full-time position in Tennessee, which calls for a SAP BW/BI professional with 5-7 years experience in applications development (full life cycle), and occasional travel. The job title is BI Solutions Engineer.

Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Business Objects, SQL Server DTS/SSIS, Informatica, Oracle SQL.

Also highly desirable is two years experience supervising and/or managing a team consisting of on-site and off-site (global virtual) members.

Minimum experience is having worked on 3 or 4 large-scale full life cycle data warehousing projects, scratch to go-live.

Duties include ensuring best practices, creating quality design documentation, establishing and maintaining logical modeling standards, mentoring and possibly supervising other team members, project management, participating in gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, and leading development of all data related activities (e.g., business process flow, gap analysis, logical/physical data models, and report specifications).

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are vital.
