Data Analyst Position

Data Analyst Position
Tok Tok is a newly-founded venture conquering one of the most fundamental, utilitarian questions we all ask ourselves in day-to-day life: a question that today can be more accurately and conveniently answered on-demand. Operating in stealth mode, this early stage start-up is fueled by adequate cash from “friends and family” and is actively working towards building version 1 (v1) of the product. Upon completion of v1, the team will determine if scalability of the concept to a commercial level is possible and, if so, will seek seed funding from established partners.
As a sneak peak, Tok Tok flirts with analytics and “big data” layered on geolocation data to seek useful insights around a fairly universal question.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The data analyst position will be held for a three month period with the potential to convert to a full-time offer. During this period, the data analyst will work on several parallel modeling projects to support development of a proof-of-concept system. The data analyst will report to the co-founders. The data analyst should be confident in their abilities as the majority of projects will be autonomous. A prime candidate for this role is a self-starting team player with good business aptitude and a knack for explaining complex modeling in layman’s terms. Most importantly, the data analyst will play a crucial role in developing a core analytics platform for Tok Tok’s product, and as such will be regularly involved in top-level strategic discussions.
