We are in search of a SAP BI BW Developer for a hiring company located in Austin, TX.

This is a bonus-eligible full-time position offering a competitive base salary, full benefits, relocation assistance, and reimbursement of travel expenses for the on-site interview phase of the hiring process. The hiring company has been in business for about 26 years, employs about 500 people worldwide, and provides 700 products with offices/facilities in TX, AZ, Europe, Japan and Asia.

Job Overview/duties
• Performs analysis and configuration in SAP BW 7.0 to facilitate various analytics solutions
• Works directly with business analysts, end users and project teams to develop new BI functionality from specifications
• Coordinates testing and performs change management
• Performs routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem-solving, debugging and unit testing
• Provides production support and administration of BW back-end operations as needed
• Monitors and troubleshoots data integrity, data design and technical software issues
• Prepares project related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical specs, etc.) throughout various stages of the project
• Provides support and development of APO interfaces to SAP ECC and SAP BW
• Conducts knowledge transfer and training with team members
• Validates information generated within reports developed
• Participates in UAT including scenario development, and documentation of test results

Requirements/skills/experience
• 5+ years experience in SAP BW, including a minimum of 1 year in version 7.x
• BW integration experience with one or more SAP modules such as: FI, SD, MM, PP, APO, etc.
• Strong experience in BW data modeling, including EDW and DataMart methodology
• Strong experience with ETL from SAP and non-SAP source systems
• Experience in ABAP including ABAP OO and APIs
• Strong experience in developing reports using BEx Query Designer and Web Application Designer
• Prefer experience with SAP Business Objects including Webi, Crystal Reports, Xcelsius, and Business Explorer
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving and performance tuning skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and also independently with minimal supervision
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
