Hyperion Essbase Developer - Applications Engineer

This is a full-time position in Orlando, FL with a client for whom we have made several placements over the past several months. We have excellent relationships with the HR staff as well as with various senior level managers.

Note that visa sponsorships are not currently available.

Contact dbarber@nichetech.com

What we’re looking for is a very strong Essbase developer who can interact with the business end-users, understand what they want, be able to diplomatically steer the discussion towards needs versus wants based on tools, resources and time constraints, and then follow through with developing the system prototype, final development, implementation, training and support.

The hiring manager is particularly interested in someone who can also mentor/train the end users so as to increase their knowledge, ability, and effective use of the system/tools, and thus come to achieve the status of power user.

HFM is also of interest but Essbase trumps.

The salary will be competitive, plus a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, and relocation assistance for the successful candidate.

Our service includes interview coaching through role-playing to ensure successful interviews, providing background information on the players, arranging conversations with others we have previously placed with the client so as to get a feel for the culture, etc., attention to detail throughout the entire process, excellent follow up through status reports, and suggestions on how to increase the effectiveness of a resume so as to attract attention and desire to interview. In fact, we have put all this information and more into a Handbook for (IT) Job Hunters published last year (available at Amazon and several other outlets).
