The Sr. Technical Analyst is responsible for completing at a minimum the following tasks in support of the Business Support contract:
Reverse engineer Access Applications to conduct code reviews, detail technical documentation and system maintenance documentation
Utilize Business Requirements to develop and enhance new and existing Access Applications
Knowledge of building a Data Dictionary to support Data Warehouse used for adhoc reporting
Responsible for providing technical guidance and leading the technical team
o Actively attend technical discussions that explain the approach of building a new tool using MS Access
o Provide documentation of technical approach that has been suggested to the client
Possess clear knowledge and understanding of Data Warehousing
Develop and perform ad hoc queries and data mining tasks using MS Access, MicroStrategy, and Oracle.
Gather and analyze housing data using MicroStrategy, Microsoft Access, as well as Oracle, and provide and deliver recommendations to the client.
Design and prototype MicroStrategy reports, perform report testing and assessment, and data accuracy analysis and validation on at least a quarterly basis.
Redesign and prototype the SharePoint site that allows the client to post and update data points and documents, provides access to submit ad-hoc report requests, and provides for automatic reminders being sent to relevant stakeholders based on work-flow set up.
Develop a wide range of well written, clear, and concise report deliverables within targeted timeframes.
Assist in Quality Assurance of team member deliverables.
Assist other team members in gathering report data.
Assist in improving customers business processes.
Interface with clients technical and business staff on a daily basis.
Assist with meeting minutes and customer communications.
Provide weekly status report updates to Project Manager.
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for client specific data requests within short timeframes.
Attention to detail and experience in customer service environments.
Other tasks may include training material preparation, user documentation and completion of other projects as defined by the client and the Project Manager.

Strong proficiency in MS Access, Visio, Excel and Word.
Strong skills in report development (i.e. MicroStrategy, Access Reports, SQL Reporting, Cognos, Crystal Reporting).
Strong skills developing queries, macros and
VB modules with MS Access.
Strong MS Access database development and maintenance skills.
Familiarity with business process improvement and workflow development a plus.
At least 4 years knowledge of SQL writing experience.
A bachelors degree in a related discipline preferred (Masters degree is a plus).
A minimum of 10+ years of related experience preferred.
