We have an immediate need for an Interface Systems Consultant/Analyst for a major project with the DC government. Complete Description:
The interface systems consultant is responsible for interface implementations, analysis, modifications, testing, and support from pre implementation through to post go-live activities. The interface analyst reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs and documents detailed interface specifications, conducts mappings and records translation table values, conducts testing with the field, and supports interface and integration change requests. The interface analyst collects appropriate data, reviews and analyzes data to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures and makes recommendations of change in systems or processes which will improve effectiveness and efficiencies of integrations. Makes decisions and recommendations which reflect appropriate level of analysis and evaluation of options. Considers organization's values, priorities and related regulatory and legal requirements. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of project management, documentation, and training tasks in support of planning and deployment. May lead the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in driving for results. Consults with client or department heads to define need or problem, conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization. Requires knowledge in fields defined as information technology, computer programming, computer security, computer systems analysis, database management, information systems, Internet applications and development, software development, and related fields.
