> This position will assist in the design, development, and administration of the NAVAIR Enterprise SharePoint Environment. This position is responsible for design, development, and management of processes to deliver custom and standard SharePoint sites to customers. This position will work closely with the software development and server teams to stay current on technologies and software standards. Qualified candidate needs an understanding of design tools (such as: SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio), commercial portal development (such as SharePoint portal products) as well as development of web-based software applications in general.
> Responsibilities:
> - Work together with team members to plan, develop and execute SharePoint projects
> - Track and report the status of projects.
> - Attend customer meetings to gather and document requirements from customers for their SharePoint sites.
> - Projects will consist of requirements gathering and/or validation, creation of specs and other documentation
> - Create SharePoint Workflows
> - Create custom SharePoint web parts
> - SharePoint design, development, testing, training customer base, migration to production environment.

> Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
>
> 5-8 years of related experience in web software development.
>
> Must be able to obtain Secret clearance. Interim Secret Clearance to start.
> -Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
> -Knowledge in software development using SharePoint, Java, HTML, .NET, web application, or portal/collaboration languages/tools.
> -Capable of adapting to changing priorities to meet customer demands.
> -Ability to work with customers to gather, document, and track software requirements through the software development life-cycle.
> -Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to successfully complete work assignments.
> -Written and oral communication.

> -Desired Requirements:
> SharePoint * MS Word * XML * SQL
> -Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
