Client is URGENTLY looking for a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator for a contract or contract to hire opportunity. Client must fill in the next week!



Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire (third parties must be willing to pass visa sponsorship on to client after 6 months of contract)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (MUST be onsite)

Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00per hr (may flex for 1099 or C2C)



Sr. Oracle Database Administrator

Senior Level



Required Skills:

5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
Expert knowledge and experience with Oracle 10gR2 in a RAC production environment and administrating Oracle database technologies (version 10g or later).
Experience with RAC from Configuration to Set-ups from scratch
Proven enterprise level experience with Oracle DBMS and utilities
SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD and performance tuning
Desired/Bonus:

Very strong customer service skills
Self Starter, work in a fast paced environment and able to work independently
Excellent problem solving and Analytical skills.
Job Description:



Administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of Oracle 10g or later version databases.
Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.
Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.


Work Environment:



Casual attire, jeans and polo ok. Very collaborative within the team. All projects are tackled by the entire team with each individual having specific goals and project duties. Deadlines absolutely must be met! No work from home. Some overtime is requested but not required.
