Programmer Analyst Specialist

Location: 701 EAST CARY STREETRICHMONDVA 23219 UNITED STATES

Duration: 1 year 5 months

Qualifications:

COBOL Programmer/Analysts needed to support a 3-year CIS initiative, the DVP Gateway Project, to deliver an internal consolidated contact center application, an external customer web application, and an integrated data layer to transport data to and from internal legacy applications to drive the call center and customer front-end products.

Responsibilities:

Develop a logical design into detailed designs including program specs; Translate program specs into COBOL online CICS and Batch programs; Develop and execute unit test plans, system test plans, and integration test plans
Provides technical consulting and/or leadership on complex projects. Incumbents are technical experts in one or more areas of applications systems analysis and programming. May act as an expert in business or functional area. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Works company wide in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments. Acts as a project work team/group leader. Errors may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.


Requirements:

CICS- 3+ years (Nice to have: Customer/1 experience with Design/1; MQ Series experience)

Cobol- 3+ years (Additional skills - DB2, JCL, TSO, Endevor, Expediter, QMF and/or BMC, File-Aid, MS Word)
