Currently we are looking for:

DB2 Administrator - English language (2nd level support)
Location: Brno
With 2 + years of experience (Minimum 18 months of DBA experience on any Unix flavour or Linux)

As a DB2 Administrator you should feel comfortable in following fields:

• DB2 RDBMS architecture concepts
• Usage of database catalogs
• Space management,
• Managing Archive log files
• User management
• Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery.
• Backup and recovery using DB2 backup and restore commands.
• Ability to use export/import, DB2move, Load utility.
• DB2 node directory / catalog configuration
• Database performance tuning using DB2dart, DB2explain utilities.
• Troubleshooting database issues using db2diag and notification logs, snapshot, event monitor, db2hc or enabling hmon.
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Working knowledge of Unix

You are our perfect future co-worker if you have:

• Knowledge of DB2 UDB 8.x or 9.x;
• Ability to learn quickly and mentoring other team members on Data Base field;
• Willing to learn and work with WebSphere products;
• Use of problem and change management tools

If you have:

• Communication skills: Good English speaking/writing skills required
• Bachelor's Degree
• DBA : Applied
• English: Intermediate
