Location: Washington DC

Pay Rate: Up to 63/hr. C2C; or 55/hr. W2

Position Type: 7 month contract (likely extension)

End Client: BLS



Must be Either H1 Visa, EAD, GC or US CIT



Requirements

· 4+ Years hands on Database Administration

· Manage Oracle RDBMS; Performance Tuning

· Provide Oracle Database support, creating new instances in Development

· Responsible for propagation of instances to Test and Production

· Keep version and Patches up to date on the servers for databases, grid control and agents Availability of Databases

· Backup/Recovery/Refresh strategies and implementation

· Performance improvement strategies; Maintain backup schedules

· Manage storage restrictions; Coordinate with Network/UNIX Administrators for patching

· Oracle Forms and Oracle reports for Business Intelligence and Enterprise Business

· System troubleshooting, patching and upgrade, backup/recovery, performance tuning

· Security management for Oracle database and Oracle application servers

· Bachelor degree

· 5+ years experience in Oracle Database Administration

· 3+ years experience in managing Oracle Application Server suite

· Solid understanding of Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Application Server technology
