Thumbs up Use C# or Visual Basic Directly to Write User-defined Functions for SQLite

Devart has recently announced the release of dotConnect for SQLite, ADO.NET provider that offers Entity Framework support, LINQ to SQL support, and contains an ORM model designer for developing LINQ to SQL and EF models based on the SQLite database engine.

dotConnect for SQLite 2.50 supports SQLite user-defined functions. The new dotConnect for SQLite classes - SQLiteAggregateFunction, SQLiteScalarFunction, and SQLiteCollationFunction ease the process of creating
and registering user-defined functions and allow you to implement deficient functions for SQLite or even
overload standard SQLite functions with your own ones. Besides, now the functions may be written using C# or VB directly.

We also continue to improve the LINQ to SQLite and Entity Framework support. In LINQ to SQLite DeleteOnNull association attribute support was added. The performance of our provider in Entity Framework models was improved.

We offer a free Standard edition of dotConnect for SQLite.
The Single license starts from as little as $149.95, and you can always choose the edition that matches your needs best. To learn more, download trial and free editions, or order a license please visit Devart site:
