Talking Get SharePoint Reminders and Alerts to e-mail or sms with new Virto Web Part

Alerting and Reminding in SharePoint are essential features but it’s not an easy deal to make them work. We have released web part which helps to create and send alerts within minutes and provides users with this additional adjustment tools.

Virto Alert Customizer expands the flexibility of the built-in SharePoint notification system by allowing creating custom alerts within a minute, sending them to a specific user or a group of users by e-mail, SMS and instant messengers, making custom Rich Text Template for different types of alerts and using link templates when designing alert views, setting up sophisticated alert triggers and scheduling delivering schemes.

The new version contains another important set of features that deal with reminding about upcoming or overdue events. Virto Alert Customizer 2.0 provides SharePoint users with instruments that allow them to set up a reminder for any event (i.e. any field from a SharePoint list). One can specify any period or a sequence of periods (e.g. 90 minutes, 60 minutes, 30 minutes, etc) before or after the event when a reminder should be sent to the specified users or user groups.
