How do I make my visited hyperlink not turn purple?

I've created webpages and the text which are hyperlinked turns purple when I click on it. How do I make it not turn purple?

Also... the text is underlined and I want to get rid of the underline. I've tried simply by clicking the Underline toolbar but it won't allow me to not underline it.

why would you want to depart from the W3 reccomendations on user interface?
why would you want to potentailly confuse your users by creating a non standard UI

However if you must.....

If DAP's support CSS.. you may be able to do it under that but I'd reckon there is a property on the individual hyperlink which allows you to do this

On the web page you will need to assign:

<a class="abnormal" ...

Using stylesheets then:

a.abnormal:link { color: #999999; ...
a.abnormal:visited { color: #0000cc; ...
a.abnormal:active { color: #ff9900; ...
a.abnormal:hover { color: #cc0000; ...

Change the a class to the name you want and the colour to give the effect you desire.
