Communications Control Win 7

My database uses an ActiveX Microsoft Communications Control, version 6.0. It's a caller-id trapper that brings up the customer record when it identifies the phone number.

A few months ago, i upgraded to Win 7 64-bit and office 2007, adn now I get "MS Access does not support this ActiveX Control." Everything else in this extensive dbase works fine.

My sysWOW64 folder includes the mccomm32.ocx, and the VB/ Tools/ References appropriately includes the MS Comm Control v6.

Thinking some corruption had occurred, I tried deleting the old control and adding a new one (even tried in a blank form). It won't 'support' it.

Any ideas? TIA.

Matt
