Question Corrupted Back End? Sounds like a band name, but I need help: )Any suggestions?

Hi folks... one of my clients called me a couple days ago and said one of the update queries all of a sudden started erroring out with "Data type mismatch". I had a older version of the database where the tables are (backend). When i tried it, it worked fine, which leads me to believe something has become corrupted in the backend. It would be fine if there weren't autonumbers and i could just copy and paste data into 'new' tables, but I don't see that as an option. Any thoughts?
