Sumif and transpose with MS Access

I know excel fairly good but am still somewhat new with MS Access. I have attached a file as an example of my issue. I would like to sum totals for a column according to the month displayed in another column and then transpose that to a horizontal file layout. I can do this with a pivot table in excel but would like to have the ablility to pull the data with SQL to Union with other data before exporting it. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.
Thanks

Look in the Access help file for Crosstab queries.
