I'm getting runtime error 3164 in Access97, German version.
In English, it should say: Field can not be updated.

It is possible to create a new record with a valid primary key, and if you try to enter some more data, the error occurs.
If I inspect the database-table, the record fields seem to be ok.
There are app. 10 other users working with this db.
Maybe it's a locking problem? But how?
