Using foriegn characters

I am creating a databse of South American plants and need to type Spanish words.

Can anyone tell me how to insert letters with accents into text fields. I can use the numberpad on my desktop computer but the problem comes on my laptop which does not have one.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ron

Try this:

Get your notebook into numlock-state, and use the good old Alt-something Ascii-codes to enter strange characters.
