USE

RiskAnalysisDetails.Date2006 DESC


That shoud solve your Problem
ASC = ASCENDING

DESC = DESCENDING

That puts the 2004 dates at the top, then 2005, etc., just as I needed, but within each year the dates are also sorted descending -- Dec to Jan (see attachment). Is there a way to keep the columns as they are now, but with the dates within each column sorted in ascending (Jan to Dec) order?
