Hi All,

I am using a software that is like an add-in to excel used to retrieve data from database. The sheet on which the query is included is called layout and the output is generated in a new file called instance.

The problem I am facing is that if I protect the layout, excel gives error that sheet is protected and does not pull any data in the instance. I want my output sheet (instance) to be password protected so that no one can make changes or do a copy/paste or Save As to another sheet. Any input will be of great help.
