Change error message for locked cells.

I have setup an excel spreadsheet that is totally locked except for 15 cells that are highlighted with yellow. When they attempt to type into any of the cells that are protected, the standard error message dialog box is displayed. Is there anyway that I can intercept the error and display my own message to tell the user that they may only type in the highlighted cells? We are using Office 2000.

Never mind, I setup an automatic macro on worksheet open that will only allow the user to access unlocked cells. They can't even click on locked cells. Thanks for anyone who was looking into this for me.
