Hi,

Does anyone know about linking cells in worksheets using the "=" sign?

If I delete a row in my main worksheet or add a new one in, I get errors in the linked sheet or it does not update.

Does anyone know a way around this, without also modifying the linked sheet?

Instead of using the cell reference in the formula , name the cell, ie: insert name define Q1Sales


then in your linked sheet when you do = and then select the cell in the main sheet, you are referencing the Named Range Q1Sales, not Cell A1

If rows are added or deleted Range Q1Sales is still the same
