I have an excel 2003 table that i have a hypelink to a word document is there any way to populate some of those fields when it opens? ie name, numberid, etc. also when i try to use the date function i keep getting the date in some unreadable form. i have a column set for date, but when i input the date it comes out in some unintelligible form. am i not setting it up right? and finally when a persons balance reaches a certain dollar amount i would like for the cloumn to show red or yellow. i can't remember what formula i would use for that, can someone please help?

thanks,
