Hi all,

ive come accross a problem in excel where i try an copy a ranking formula over a whole set of figures:

What i want is the formula to copy down properly like this:

rank(S606,S606762,1)
RANK(S607,S606762,1)
on so on....

what im getting is this:
rank(S606,S606762,1)
RANK(S607,S607763,1)
RANK(S608,S608764,1)

this isn't right- any way i can copy the formula properly or do i need to write it out 400 times?

Put the dollar sign before the 762, that will freeze the last item.
