Table look up

My company would like me to update a workbook that tracks our employes travel, like who and how much. There is an overal sheet (which is our whole organization), each team has a sheet, then a sheet with all the data on it. All the sheets pull from the data sheet for all the numbers then there's a graph for all this, that was easy. Now they want the people who will be traveling in the current month. to be displayed automaticallly along side the chart. Can anybody help me with a funtion to do this?

I was thinking about doing a vlookup, but I need to get a set of rows and not a single value.

I haven't had experience with these. I thought they were to allow people to compare data in different ways.
