I'm using excel 2003 and created a vertical bar (far left) in cell A1:A57 in the attached sheet. For some reason, when printed or print preview grids (in middle) do not show. I've tried to re-create it, copy and paste from another sheet w/o any success. Any suggestion?

I inserted a new worksheet then clicked the All Cells button on your w/s, did a copy, clicked All Cells button in new w/s and did a paste. The shaded vertical bar in column A shows up in print preview of the new worksheet. I could not get it to appear in print preview of your worksheet.
