Only one person open a execl file

I have this excel file on the network

it has a Auto_open running a program

is there a way to stop other user from running it

if it already has been open

yes they get the read only message but they can't read

would like a way to stop other user from runing it.

So what you really have to do is detect whether there is anyone else with the file open or not...

voila!
